Today we had a long 2hr cuddle and at the same time fed her some milk. She's doing pretty good at the moment and tolerating her feed well. All she need is just to gain more weight. The Dr decided to add a bit of calories to her daily breast milk feed starting next Monday. This will help increase her weight gain much faster. She looks very light and much easier for her to move around now. Her ventilator will be taken off next week, finger cross. She'll be changed to a different type of ventilator which only provide some air to keep her airways open. But she will then be breathing as a normal person. She's making an excellent progress with her breathing overall. Lately, she open her eyes quite a lot. I manage to hear her sneeze for the first time too! Oh yeah, I now can change her nappy all by myself.
