Her 1st Year Birthday Celebration

Her 1st Year Birthday Celebration

Day 1 Eid: Takbir Raya

Friday, 10 September 2010

On the morning of the first day of Raya, I was busy doing some experiments with my colleague, Brie. A very unusual way to start Hari Raya!

In Brisbane, the Hari Raya prayer is performed in an open field at St. Lucia at the Uni of Queensland.

After performing Hari Raya prayer, Hubby spent the whole morning looking after little Princess Rania, giving her a cuddle, doing her feed, wash and doing her cares. I'm very much glad that she had put on some weight - 72g!! She is now 1646g!! Yeay!!

While Mom, Dad, Sis Sija & Hubby and Mia spent their time a little bit of shopping here and there. They tried to visit the little one sometime in the morning but Hubby and i were having an appointment with the Doctor, post pregnancy appointment, and strictly enough they weren't let in to visit her in our absence. We forgot to tell them that visits are only restricted to families but are only allowed to enter the room in the presence of parents. So we came visit little Princess together at night. Sis Sija & hubby spent some time talking to the little one.

After then, we went for a drive around city of Brisbane to enjoy Brisbane environment at night. It feels good that finally we, the three sisters are united!!

My plan is to take the whole week next week off from work, spending some quality time with family. That is when my Hari Raya celebration begins! Yippie! I'm planning to bring my family to the famous Gold Coast, Harbour town for shopping, Sunshine Coast, Koala Sanctuary, Australia Zoo.. Sounds busy isn't it?! Ha Ha Ha. Since there are staying here for only a week, i'm trying my best to make time to keep them buzy so that they will come back again in near future.
