During Hari Raya eve in Brunei, we usually were busy decorating our house. Hari Raya environment in Brisbane is very different. This Hari Raya's eve, we were mostly with Rania at the hospital before heading off to the airport to pick up Sis Sija and Hubby Alwis.
When we got home, Hubby and I went were invited to join some Bruneian kids playing small fireworks at the nearby park. For the past 2 years, Hubby had been sponsoring big fireworks for our nephews and nieces to enjoy. This year, they (our nephews and nieces) are sad that Hubby and i had to spend our Hari Raya away. I missed celebrating Hari Raya in Brunei. But it doesn't matter much to me now, what's so special this year is, apart from celebrating it in Brisbane, my husband and whole family is here (except my brother, Zul). Most importantly, this is our first Hari Raya with our lovely little girl, Rania.
