Being a clever little girl that Princess Rania is, she is already showing Mummy how strong her sucking reflexes are. It is getting more and more visible!! Even i could hear it and even more obvious when i cuddle her, but only thing there was nothing to suck on.. Cute!!
Reluctant at first, hubby and i decided to let our little Princess practice her sucking senses using a pacifier just for a short while. This was only after a number of consideration that first she is still in the cot and second because she wasn't allowed to breast feed naturally as yet because of her CPAP is getting her way. Also after consultation by her Dr that there is no side effect if only put on for a short term. Little Rania seemed happy because she finally has something to suck on. I'm really impressed that even at her first time having the pacifier, she was already holding it with her cute little fingers, using both hands all by herself. Cute little Baby!! The baby nurses were all amazed that someone her size was clever enough to hold the dummy like the way she did.
Hubby and i agreed that we will remove it once she starts on natural breastfeeding, that way she will not notice it, i hope. She will understand because she is a clever girl now!!
